Job Description: The Czech Centre in Kiev operated by the Embassy of The Czech Republic in Ukraine would like to offer this position to someone who is able to perform the duties of an experienced Program Manager in Lviv. He/she will also officially be the embassy’s employee. It is his/her job to organise, co-ordinate and line-up all the events and programmes of The Czech Centre in Lviv. He/she will provide strategic guidance in ways that promote and advertise the cultural division of the Embassy and it’s activities.
The ideal candidate must be highly organised, be excellent at time and personnel management as well as have high standards of ethics, social graces and be efficient and effective in managing staff of different disciplines to produce results in a timely manner. He/she must be able to creatively develop and execute strategies and tactics that pertain to all projects. The goal is to ensure that all programs produce favourable results to the Czech Centre.
Responsibilities :
- Organise and monitor projects and events of The Czech Centre in Lviv
- Co-ordinate cross-project arts and cultural activities
- Develop and control deadlines, budgets and activities
- Apply change, risk and resource management
- Assess program performance
- Resolve projects’ higher scope issues
- Prepare reports for the directress
- Proven experience as a Program Manager or other managerial position and be able to provide sufficient references with past managers’ contact details
- Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods
- Excellent knowledge of performance evaluation
- Excellent knowledge of up-to-date versions of MS Office
- Working knowledge of program/project management software
- Organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving ability
- BSc/BA diploma in management or a relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus
- English on level B2
- Czech on level A2
- Ukrainian C2
